Meet the Candidate

Greg Sollish
Greg is a proud product of public education. After graduating from Berkley High School, he went on to earn his Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan and Master's degree from the University of Virginia.
Prior to graduate school, Greg worked as a community organizer in Wayne County. This work inspired Greg's graduate research on electoral organizing and civic engagement. After receiving his Master's at UVA, Greg returned to his home state of Michigan, where he has worked professionally in democracy protection and election research since 2018.
In addition to his civic engagement work, Greg has served as a track and cross country coach for Berkley High School since 2022. He has led the teams to five conference championships and has coached multiple all-state and school record holding athletes.
Greg resides in Berkley with his wife (a fellow BHS grad) and his son who will be a future Roger Racoon.
